The Center

DEC's homespace is a storefront center in downtown Lewiston, a large and multi-functional space open to all where classes, projects, workshops, and drop-in services take place and where issues are raised, discussed, studied, and acted on. The Center serves as a base for community research, service-learning and student internships, as a meeting-place for college courses associated with such projects, as a space for training, mentoring, and workshops, and as a "public square" for community discussions. DEC is a welcoming space, well-equipped to accommodate classes and large meetings. If you are interested in bringing your class or your community group to DEC, contact us by phone or email.
