*8. Pettengill Park and Trail – 48 Pettengill Park Road, Auburn (behind Ingersoll Arena) – 1 K, blue blazes. Park has baseball fields, basketball courts, football fields, playgrounds, ice rink Post a review
9. Simard-Payne Memorial Park (Railroad Park) – Oxford Street and Beech Street, Lewiston – Grass field with paved path around border (1 K loop), includes a foot bridge to Auburn’s Riverwalk Post a review
10. Sunnyside Park - Corner of Whipple and Winter St., Lewiston- Soccer field and “Riverside Trail” which goes north along the river, through Riverside Cemetery Post a review

Hikes within a 2 hour drive

1. Evans Notch - Many hikes and loops, with elevations ranging from ~1000 to ~3000 ft.- ~1.5-2 hours from Lewiston/Auburn Post a review
2. Pleasant Mountain - 2.5, 2.9, 1.8, or 2.4 miles to fire tower at top (depending on trail), 7.5 mile loop possible if willing to walk ~2 miles on Denmark/ Wilton Warren Rd., or 5.5 mile loop including ~1.2 miles on Mountain Rd - 2006ft. elevation - 1 hour drive from Lewiston/Auburn – Mountain Rd. (towards Shawnee Peak) for Bald Peak or Ledges Trail; Wilton Warren Rd. (off of 302) in West Bridgton (just past Shawnee Peak) for Fire Wardens or Southwest Ridge Trail. Bald Peak and Shawnee Peak can also be accessed from these trails. Post a review
3. Tumbledown Mountain - www.mainelyhiking.com/tumbledown.htm - 4 mile loop, 3068 ft. elevation- 1.5 hour drive from Lewiston/Auburn- Mount Blue State Park- Byron Rd. 5.8 miles from Weld Corner (Left just past Webb Lake in Weld, ME). If doing loop, best to go up the Loop Trail (very steep) and down the Brook Trail. Small alpine lake on top to Tumbledown, and caves to explore on the way up the Loop Trail. Little Jackson Mountain and Parker Ridge can also be accessed from these trails. Post a review
